Newby from the Island

Hello
My name is Greg, I live on Vancouver Island. I have been lurking on the site for a time. My buddy Rob A.K.A. ( Steamer ) has hooked me up with what I have been looking for... He had spent many hours searching, we made a few short trips to look at cars but they weren't the one.
He found a red 2006 in great shape, loaded up with all the bells and whistles. It is now parked in my garage. Thanks Rob...

With the chromed rims and that colour you have one rich looking car. Once you go for a drive, you just want to keep on driving. With the Island scenery, that isn't too hard to take either.

Hey Greg!!!!! Glad you made it on here. Rob told me all about your (and his) search for the right car, and you ended up with a beauty.

I'm partial to that colour which I believe Rob told me is the same as my brother's Monterey Red and very slightly darker/bluer than my Crystal Red. (see my avatar for both rides) Your colour may be named something different since there's some variance in colour names of the early C6 cars.

Enjoy that ride and ask Rob about a hat and tee rep'ing our CCF club. He may have told you of all the hats and tees he had made up and brought with him when he visited late August early Sept.

Congrats once again on one fine ride and am looking forward to chatting and hearing about any mods you plan and the fun rides you and Rob have on the island.

I have said the same thing a dozen times this summer to many friends and WIFE ! ( Once you go for a drive, you just want to keep on driving )
Hard to explain to them how much fun it is.. The only way for them to understand is to let them take my toy out for a spin.
BUT that isn't going to happen......
