My names Donny, I’m 64 years old getting ready to retire. I work as a mechanic for a medium sized construction company, we do infrastructure as in laying pipe for storm sewer and sanitation as well as water main. This will be my 3rd season with my 1971 c3 270hp/350. I had several vintage cars such as 62 invader, 63 nova, 72 nova but this is my first corvette. I’m the 3rd owner of this super clean Ontario car. It is a good car but it’s an old car mostly original. I’ve done some up keep and will do most of the work myself in my heated well equipped shop. I also own an original paint 1965 c20 Chevy truck that’s rust free (Montana)with original wood floor in the box. I’ve had it 15 years and it never gets driven in rain or snow. My c3 and my c20 are always parked indoors unless I’m driving one. Someimes take both out for a burger so we can fit grand kids too.
I also enjoy my restored 1972 and 1974 H1 500 2 stroke kawasaki triples which I built completely. I do like winter so I have a couple of snowmobiles, my fave is my restored by me 1969 snoprince. From here on I’ll keep my topics c3 related.
Thanks for the welcome

Welcome to the forum Donny. Nice rides. Especially like the old Sno Prince. Don't see many of them anymore, especially in that condition. I worked in a snowmobile shop for a couple years back in the early 70's. Yours looks like a 67 or so.
Thanks, It’s a 68 hood and 69 chassis. The SnoPrice is a blast, it runs really good and has been reliable too. I painted it and decals made in Adobe Illustrator. I had them printed and cut. The beige is Almond and the brown is oxide primer clear coated. I started with 3 scrap sleds and made one. The engine portion of the tunnel is all new thicker metal, the stock metal was too thin and was cracked from the vibration of the 292 Hearth. Engine has new crank seals and a 60 over piston. I bought one scrapper just for the foot mats and electric starter parts.

Going to surprise my brother now with a gift. John has a 1969 Kawasaki Coyote he’s had since he was about 10 or 11. He wants to restore it and I found him a new seat cover for it, I’ll tell him it’s his birthday present.
