Hi everyone.

Just thinking about getting a z06 in Ontario. I'm looking at the 2025 2LZ and 3LZ.

Will not see much track time, and I only plan on driving it in good weather.

My main question is, how do these cars hold their value over ~5 years?

Planning on putting less than 5000km per year on them by the looks of it.

No rush to buy, but the 0% financing offer is attractive.

Mostly just looking at it as a fun car, but I've also just recently started looking at Corvettes so I'm super new to it all.

Any advice appreciated!

@Mr.Corvette is up to date on all things Corvette and may have some helpful info.

Welcome to the Forum! Always great to see a lurker join to ask a question.
If you want to DM me with your first and second colour choices I will have a look at what's out there for you. I spend
a ton of time doing this for members and most don't donate to the forum or the concierge which is concerning.
Historically this model Corvette has held it's value at one of the highest levels of any car in recent years.
You can search for articles on that through various publications. In this case in 5 years the next generation
Corvette C9 will be out and that will impact values of your car but to what extent we don't know.
The promotions on current Corvettes is to offset the effect of Luxury Tax primarily and to move remaining inventory.
At the end of C7 they offered 0% to do the same thing. Hopefully you plan on keeping the Z06 for the next 5-10 years
and then you won't be very concerned with this. The 0% offer can save you over 30K in typical interest charges
compared to the rates in 2023 or 2024 on the same car.
Let me know by DM if you want me to move forward for you. Just click on my car and then click on the send direct
message box in case you don't know as you are new here. Let me know where you are from in Ontario as well.

The question is how well does it holds its value is the point? Can I get a bag of chips for it in 10 years?
My guess is you could. And a nice bottle of champagne to wash them down.

And this was 20 years ago !

@Mr.Corvette
I am in the same boat as 9997 and looking to upgrade my Camaro.
I see some dealerships posting discounts. Some showing none at all. And others using the new "by request" pricing.
A 2025 would work, but the desirable ones are gone. 2026's are starting to show some discounts now and I like the newer interior.

Please DM for more details.

Thank you.

I may still be able to get some decent discount on the 26' before the 27' start showing up on dealers lot? This is just my opinion but Mr. Corvette would get a more accurate sense of the moving dynamic of the vette market.
For all those that thinking about it, just get the one you want and enjoy your car. Don't let a few thousands either way and keep you from your seat time in a C8. Especially a Z06 but I am biase. 🙂

I agree 100% cdnz!

I love the look of the wide body version of the C8 and the LT6 sings my song.
The 96 Grand Sport was my first Corvette love :hearts:The Admiral Blue, white stripe and red interior are back again and it has me torn.
Now that there is a choice of the new GS and the Z06. My dilemma is that a GS spec'd above will be close in price to a marked down Z, albeit 1LZ.

If I have 20K of wiggle room and there are some 26 Z06's that look appealing. I would go Z. But with no GS pricing yet, do I let those Z's pass?

I started looking in 23 when they were impossible to get. Then added they added the Lux tax, and the price has gone up 20%!

So your original point of just getting one and enjoying it is where I'm at now.

***I do have a really nice 23 1LE Camaro though, so all is not lost!***

There are many here that came from Camaro. The GS was on my wanted list just because the Z06 where out of my reach at msrp. At the end of the day, a generously discounted Z06 bridge the gap enough to jump on the Z06. Absolutely love the Z even at a base trim model. What ever you choose will be a winner between the 2.
