2001 Z06
Hey everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I have an '01 Z06 with a few light mods. I'm mostly on another forum for Z06's. I went to Z06Fest in Bowling Green,KY with a local Z06 buddy last September. I met Manny from Engineered Corvette Products briefly last summer at the A&W meet. I also have an '01 Camaro SS that's modded a lot more. Cam, valvetrain,HP Tuners tune, etc. I like my Camaro...but I love my Z06!! I want to get back into autoX, so I figured that this would be a great forum to belong to. Any help/advice is always appreciated.:canada:

Hey LSX, welcome and congrats on the great rides. As Riley says pics would be great -- would love to see the whips.

Also was a BG last September and had a great time tho we missed the 'Fest by one day (not knowing of it until too late).
Had a great time exploring the museum, the plant and the area tho.....and would love to go back and explore more.

Cheers,
Colin

Thanks! It was a blast! If you have never been to the National Corvette Museum or the assembly plant, I highly recommend going at least once. It's even better when you drive your Vette down.:coolgleam:

I can vouch for that -- We really enjoyed our trip there in Sept. Missed the Z06'Fest tho ......

Great pics -- I recognize all of them -- Did you stay at the Super8 on Williamette Lane?

No. We stayed at the Baymont Inn, which serves as home base for Z06Fest as well as many other Corvette Museum sponsored events. As of this year it's no longer the Baymony Inn, it's a Holiday Inn Express for those of you planning on going down to Bowling Green this year.
Even though you missed the Fest, I'm sure that you guys had a great time. Did you check out Mammoth Caves at all?

Did so and loved every step down and in:D --- Did the long hike and was amazed at what we saw. Talk about quietness and serenity down there! Absolute peace.

The tour guides made it that much better: our group had Rick Sanders and Richard Howell -- Rick was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. You'll know him by all his facial hair.....

Got a ton of pics but had to share this one just in case you had the same guides. Very cool Rangers.

Great pic! We didn't have the same guides. We had one experienced guide and a rookie that had some experience, but was still learning the ropes. My girlfriend and I did the wild cave tour, which was 8 hours of hiking, crawling, traversing and contorting through tunnels, an underwater river and ravine. It was pretty intense. I totally agree on how quiet it is down there. It has an eerie beauty to it. Nice to here that you had a good time there.

awesome

Great pics, thanks for posting - welcome to the site and gang

cant wait for spring to get all our cars out !
