I really liked the C6 Z06 too......I almost bought one but went for the Viper GTS instead. My Z06 is a fat pig compared to the C6. But....everything else makes up for it. The carbon ceramic brakes alone are brilliant.

Ouch....have never heard the C7 called a "fat pig" when compared to the C6...

Compare their weights. I think my Z06 is at least 500lbs heavier....

hmmmm.... I was led to believe the Z06 was only about 100 pounds heavier than the Viper. I guess it probably depends on trim and options to some extent as well...

Nope. Viper is about 3200lbs. Mine is actually 140 lbs lighter than my buddies 2002. So, unlike GM, the SRT guys actually made my car in 2013 with more tech lighter. I think my Z06 sits at about 3600lbs and the C6 is about 3100 lbs.
