I am about to get my new C7 delivered in late April. I am trying to decide what it the best solution for paint protection. I live in BC so small rock chip are quite common here in Langley where there is constantly a lot of construction.

There seems to be 3 trains of thought - 3M film is the best but needs to be maintained. Basic paint protection from the dealer. Or a third part product like DiamondKote or similar. Any suggestions?

not many paint protections are going to stop rock chips. 3m/xpel etc will help, but the dealer protection isnt really going to help.

id xpel the front and get some cquartz on the paint and glass,

I've had 3M on critical areas since 2008 and it's done me well .EXCEPT it's changed color and I'm going to strip it all off and replace with new .

I put 3M on my 2015. No problem so far. I have it on my other vehicles for 4 years without any issues. I've read that if you polish it when you polish the car, it won't change colour.
