New c6 owner

Hi I am a first time corvette owner. I purchased a 2006 convertible on October the 28th and have managed to log 1200 km before puting her to rest for the winter. My car has only 42,000 km on it and is a 6 speed in high velocity yellow. Can't wait for spring...

We are finishing up the fifth summer on our 2005. From our experience, I'm pretty sure that you are going to thoroughly enjoy your car. It's going to be a looooong winter for you though.

Hey BDK.... Welcome to the forum. You have joined up with a great group of Corvette enthusiasts. My first Corvette was also a C6 and I joined this forum back then to glean any information about Corvettes that I could. I was not disappointed. There is a wealth of knowledge and owners that love to help each other and just generally like to talk about Corvettes and other things that interest or amuse.
Your car is gorgeous and kudos for buying late and still getting that much quality 'seat' time in. You will be easily recognized now as a Corvette owner by the perpetual smile on your face .... Don't forget to wave.....

Thanks.. Never had a car that is so much fun to drive. Spring can not come to soon...But the one thing I do know is that it will come...The only color I considered...
