New C-8 Snow Tire Corvette

Was surprised seeing a black one driving a few weeks ago in Vaughan myself. I’m a believer that if you buy something use it but not sure I’d drive it in the winter, especially a car like this. Full winter tires in a slushy day.

Snow Tire Corvette and Winter Beater, I’m Sorry are a figure of speech we used in the “old” days. Not sure but I think this car was just delivered close by from Brian Cullens. Maybe a newbie 1st time owner that wouldn’t wait a few more days or didn’t want to spring for Enclosed delivery.

Maybe. Even if you wanted to drive on slippery roads, I'd be afraid of all the drivers that don't know how to drive sliding into my Corvette. No winter fun with that...

I got my car only a few weeks ago so I drove it on some “warm” days around 4 degrees but mine came with the super summer sport tires so it was just a few days and then the snow hit and I’ve had to garage it for the rest of the winter. Might as well save a few bucks but can’t wait until April when I can take the car back out and finally drive it. Sucks cause it’s still not worked in yet!

that is CIBC entrance at the Pen Centre Mall in St. Catharines, that car was delivered at Brian Cullens, over 2 years ago ;)

I have met the owner, I doubt its on winter tires

Well, it's owned by a handicapped person or illegally parked! ;)

Had a friend who had numerous Corvettes over the years including a C8. He had put Michelin Alpin snow tires on both his C7 and C8. He never deliberately drove in major snow but regularly drove in cold weather and didn't hesitate when the roads were wet or when there was a light snow falling. Claimed the Corvette was OK in the winter although his go to daily driver was his SUV.
