I thing their habanero was over ripe when they developed the paint colour. I grow habaneros every year and have never seen one that colour... lol...

They can be a few different colours. They are related to Scotch Bonnets which I personally prefer. Bonnets can be red , orange, yellow and although I have never seen them, white. Been growing them for years as well. Among others.

They are all from the same genus.
