well actually the car has manual steering but the header pipes are 1/4 inch away with regular big block..it melts the grease out of the box . now the tall deck engine is rubbing on it even with shimmed motor mounts. the big block cars have the motor offset to the passenger side a lot already , found that out when I went to cut hole in hood for carb when LS6 went in. with rack and pinion I can remove steering box for ever and make some 2 1/4 primary pipes which is what is needed for a 10.3 litre motor.
