good morning all, I took my 73 project vette apart a few years ago and am finally getting back to the reasembly stage, I came across these 2
pieces that for the life of me i cannot recall where they are from or if they were even attached to the car or were laying inside with a bunch of
other stuff, if anyone recognizes these 2 parts could you please let me know, much appreciated, thanks
Scotty

Shot in the dark. Window channels ?

Start an "I don't know "pile, and don't throw anything away until you are sure.
Even then I'd keep everything. When I was a kid I rebuilt my Duster motor and had a couple of parts left over. Later after a friend nicely spun a bearing (I must have forgot to torque a crank cap bolt) I found out I forgot to put in the windage tray. Oh! THat's what that thing is! lol.
You just never know.

Quite correct. A few years ago the bearing in the idler pulley for the Serpentine belt went out. I could not find anywhere to buy just the pulley so had to buy complete pulley and idler arm. Kept the original on the shelf. About a year ago the replaced idler arm failed, so I put the newer pulley on the old arm and good ever since.

Surprised you found it. I put things on a shelf and spend the next 5 years looking for them.... :bsmile:
