What sorts of threads would you suggest would be appropriate for "Off-Topic?

As was pointed out, Corvettes have changed body styles what, about 4 times in the same period of time that Alberta changed governments once! And look how excited we get about that!

I mean we even have threads that deal with restaurants and clothing!

I think a little change is better than same old, same old. I mean how many of us would be happy still if only the C1 was being build? Things change, sometimes improvements happen. It is that way with the C7 isn't it? Even for those of us who were totally happy with the C6, or who found the C7 body not to their liking, a C7 is regarded as a step forward in the evolution of the Corvette. Plus you can still get yellow ones.

Who says that the same thing can't happen with politics?

And I mean 41% of the voters going orange, well that is a pretty sizable chunk who want a change in the direction of things..................you've gotta love democracies.

Not anymore..... at least for now. They have discontinued Velocity Yellow and now offer Sunrise Orange in its place. It sounds like they may offer a new version of yellow on 2016 models though......

Hey Navion. Hope you'll stay with us. Everyone so far has been exceptionally civil on this thread and discussing the change in government is fine for for the off topic section. Just like every section, if things get out of hand and it reduces to attacks as opposed to good debate, then those responsible will be spoken with and action will be taken at that time if necessary.

Whoa! No velocity yellow for the C7's???? That's it, I'm off this website forever!

I actually thought I saw pictures of yellow C7's?? Was I just imagining things again? Sort of like a NDP government not being the end of the world for Alberta?? The 1960's were a hard time for me it seems................

Well that would be a loss for those of us into happy bright cheerful colours! Plus all those people wandering around aimlessly in parking lots looking for their vehicles.

Sunrise orange though.........not close to NDP orange by any chance?

Maybe we could get a fleet of them for our new provincial MLA's??
