Hi legends,
I’m sure somebody here can IDENTIFY and EXPLAIN this electrical connection that joins my
a/c compressor +ve power supply (dark green) what the wiring diagram I have says is the low pressure switch. Apologies for my electrical ignorance in advance.

Took me a few minutes to recognize it (haven't seen one since my parts-guy days 20 years ago ) but that is a thermal limiter fuse. Paraphrasing a bit, but when there is improper refrigerant flow, causing too high a temp, the normally open pressure switch will close and send current to this fuse which then melts and opens the clutch circuit. GM has not used them since late 70's.

Cool, That makes some sense as it was hanging off an a/c pipe. So if I put a meter on it there should be continuity between all three posts?

Not a hundred per cent sure about all three but if it is not melted internally, there should be continuity across at least two of them.
