(whispering) some reading that statement might not be aware of the world outside their comfort-border
and it's much less competition on a wait list with the particular Dealers we know
(of these 54) when we keep it to ourselves (lol)

I removed my blinders and shopped the Country in 2019 ...
If Spencer in ON had a '19 ZR1 ... I would have been a customer of theirs right away via EJ.
If one of 3 particular Dealers in AB had one ... same.
I have came away from that exhaustive hunt getting to know many great country-wide resources
for when I seriously jump into purchasing a New C8.

I don't know about all other people here but I was only on 1 dealer list since December of 2019 with a 1K deposit. I started at number 35, then end of February 2020 I was down to number 19, by the fall of 2020: I was at number 11. Now at beginning of February 2021, the sale guy called me to announce that I am #4 of 9 cars that he will get to the dealership this year. Last week he called me asking to make a deposit of 9K for my car to get build, I went to the dealership last Thursday and handed in my bank draft. I am super excited that I will get my C8 this summer.

Just recently, a local Dealer raised the deposit from $1 K to $10 K in an attempt to curb the " multiple list " signings.
Have not heard if that had a positive effect ( reducing ) on the growing weight lists.
