Like C7Jake, I have just deleted my mufflers, and replaced them
with straight pipes, adding Corsa tips.

Mine is a NPP car, but I think the removal would have been the same.

It took me 4 "shops" to find one that would do the job, but I found one this week, and we did it this morning.

WOW...... much louder (maybe 20%... and I did have the NPP fuse pulled),
and it now "barks", and deceleraton gurgles and barks nicely.

Here are a few shots of the install (it was raining here !!!!!!).
I'll try to get some sound video clips when the weather is better.

Both Mufflers removed

I pulled fuse #42 on my 2015, no problems at all, just better sound. If you want quieter, select eco mode for v4.

If you have an M7, you will never go into eco-mode, unless you specifically make it.
If you have an A6 or A8, unfortunately, it will go into eco-mode when it wants to.

Of course, those eco-valves are just ahead of the mufflers, and you LEAVE them in, if removing the mufflers. Otherwise you WILL get a code.

This mod may mean you couldn't run at certain race tracks that enforce noise levels, like Mission near Vancouver where 90 db is the limit. I'm thinking no mufflers at full chat would be pretty loud, even with all the cats.

I like the Borla Atak where you can retain NPP and run quieter when necessary. Makes for good neighbor relations but way much money.

I'll be installing B & B Bullets in a couple of weeks, with ARH and high flow cats, Hallteck carbon cai and NPP delete. This should be quite interesting.

That should sound wicked.

Mine's going in for ARH long tubes with the high flow cats in the x-pipe, as well as heads/cam. I'm going to stay with NPP for now. I'd like to see Corsa come out with NPP valves like the Borla.

Thanks for the info Ntmd8r!

I pulled fuse 42, but do not really notice much of a difference, if any at all, for street driving. Does anyone notice a big difference on the 2015s?
