Worth a shot for sure. Still falls in the category of who holds the power given the demand for the car. But no harm in trying to get some reductions where you can.
Attempt the better-pricing now on the extras - well before delivery.
As you can start the process by saying "As I am
waiting for this car ... I am thinking but
am not sure if I can afford (extras/add ons) ... can I have a price now
that I can not refuse and to try and budget for ? ..."
Some dealerships like to scare-pressure sell full price warranty
at the point of sale / delivery day ... I try not to ever buy into that.
I actually think the buyer holds the power on who to buy
accessories from and whether to spend more $$$
at the Dealership ... the post deal-acceptance part
of the purchase is often what factors in on where
I will service all my vehicles. Service is important to
the Dealership ... even the inclusive stuff as it builds
a relationship.
Food for thought and all good .... just my opinion.
You have to be able to negotiate though ... some
are not into that ... and I understand.
