This Thread is going to confuse everyone that posts "will this affect my Warranty", including the dude who is worried about mounting aftermarket wheels lol...
lol.... this thread, before today, hasn't been used since August.... I don't see anyone asking about wheels here.....

Aimsoil recommended on their site which I think they are confidence that it meets oem requirement or they wouldn't recommend it having the risk of liability. Lingenfelter does recomend Aimsoil for their built 427 LT2. Each interpret what this means however they choose.

All I'm saying is It's not "Dexos" approved. It could quite likely be far superior to Mobil 1.
Edit: Corrected Dexron to Dexos

Found this....
Dexos Ownership .General Motors (GM) owns the Dexos brand and trademark. Dexos is a specification for engine oils, not a product manufactured by GM itself.Licensed Products . Various lubricant companies produce Dexos-licensed oils after GM certification, including Mobil 1 by ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, and others like CITGO and Phillips 66. These products display the Dexos logo and license number to confirm approval for GM vehicles.Key Details . GM created Dexos in 2010 to meet rigorous standards for fuel economy and emissions in their engines worldwide. Only licensed oils pass GM's testing; unlicensed ones are not recommended.

Could be. I think Dexos is a GM only designation? They also have the FFL-4 DCT for the C8s as well.
From the internut.....
Yes Dexos is a GM specification . GM recommends 0W-40 dexos2 (or dexosR for newer specs) synthetic motor oil, such as Mobil 1 ESP 0W-40 or Supercar formula, for the Corvette LT2 engine (found in C8 Stingray models). Warranty Requirements . Using the specified dexos-approved 0W-40 oil is mandatory to maintain warranty coverage, as deviations can lead to denied claims on engine-related issues.
GM ties warranty validity to adherence to their fluid specs, including viscosity and certification, to ensure optimal performance in high-revving LT2 applications. Oil Capacity and Filter . The LT2 requires about 7.5-8 quarts of oil, paired with the OEM AC Delco PF64 or equivalent filter.
Stick to factory-fill equivalents like Mobil 1 for track or extreme conditions, as they're engineered for the engine's demands. End of story.
