Mild to Wild .......

Those are a couple very cool ideas with the F55 switch or dead pedal switch. This forum keeps surprising me!

A quick tip from our buddy out west: Steamer (Rob) got me onto this:

I actually had seen this (yesterday) but in case anyone else was thinking of a foot switch here is Central Corvette's new product.

Cheers, Rob.

I thought I was getting the fob controlled M2W for my car, but apparently this foot switch is what I am getting instead. The installer went this route for me so I won't have to fumble with a fob and since there is no delay in opening or closing the actuators with the foot switch. Apparently it is instant. I was going to two-way tape and velco a fob under the dash somewhere but I will try it out like this and see what it's like. Getting the car delivered on Monday so I will report back in 48 hours or so.

Just got the car yesterday after all the mods, and I can report the I love the M2W deal pedal switch. It responds really fast and is easy to get to when needed. I think I might pass on the F55 console switch idea. Now I can let it rip, close it up fast and blame Corrado. Just kidding. I wouldn't point fingers.

Can't go wrong for $50! It's a winner.

If the weather cooperates and I'm not working, yeah I just might be there!
Putting it in my calander now.

Should be a great turnout and lots of fun and of course for a great cause.
It'll give many of us a chance to to faces to a lot of the names we chat with every day.

........and oh yes, Woodstock Car Guy (Terry) ordered good weather so we should be all set.

Cheers,
Colin

Got to some mods today......tho busy, I had to get some of them done. I've not been well lately so it felt nice to get out there and get some done.

The Mild-to-Wild was an easy install and works slick. Love it!
After posting I noticed that the soft rubber buttons on the fob need cleaning but you get the idea. It's velcro'd to the dash right next to the start/stop button.

The visor label covers look good in person but the pics don't do it justice. The apparent diff in colour is not nearly as noticeable in person. I'm pleased with them.

The 'CORVETTE' on the rear bumper (right side) now has the GM raised chrome letter inserts. Again the pics don't do it justice: the 'E' at the end didn't show on the pic. Don't worry, it's there. :D
I've no idea why the lighting eliminated it but didn't notice until posting, so no chance to take another. Later maybe.
A real classy touch. Strongly recommended.
