Mazda bring back Pop-up headlights 👍

Our 97 Firebird had the air brakes. The plastic gears would fail all the time leaving them either up or down 100% of the time. The fix was brass gears sold by the aftermarket.
The c4 light motors would ran on after they closed. The fix, in my case was to replace the Delrin bushings. Parts $5, time 4 hours. Been good since, but I'm waiting for the plastic gears to fail.

So far the plastic gears on my C5 are still in good condition. I don't think I turned the lights on 5 times in the last 2 years, so they are not getting much use anyway. Still thinking about replacing with the bronze gears at some point in the near future.
Never replace it with bronze gears bad idea...

Why? Plastic is better?
Yes 100,% .. there is a reason why GM they use the plastic one ...If the motor gets jumped or out of the balance the plastic gear it will get damage in the first place to protect the motor shift from break or damage ... American company they sale only plastic gear kit because they know what they are doing .
