I really liked the Eray but wanted the new interior.

Tried to buy a 26 Eray but couldn't make a deal on the car I wanted.

The GS is just as good even though I didn't get the Z52 package.

The new motor and the centre exhaust was a real bonus.

So I am quite content for now.

The only difference is the way the front end pulls you around corners.

I didn't order the Z52 package on the GS, so it should be a bit better.

So I would say the Eray handles a bit better, even with the extra weight on the front.

I miss the Eray until I fire up the GS with the new motor and centre exhaust.

I also like the new interior a lot more and that was the main reason I traded up, plus the very good deal I got.

Would I get a GSX if I got an allocation ? I would really have to think about It.

Just got back from a 350 km trip up the island.

Played with the screens a bit.

All the controls and screen access controls work great.

That new small screen on the left has lots of info on it and is very easy to use and change.

I stopped in Duncan to see a new GS coupe with the same colours as mine.

Do you see the small screen as possibly being distracting for some while driving ? Is it easy to see at a glance .... and , nice looking machine!

I don't find it distracting,.....,easy to use and just a hair off centre vision....

It's not something you need to change after you have it on the screen you want and if you do want to change it's easy after you understand all the info that is available on it.

The info is in groups and you just swipe through the group.

I don't miss the old dash one little bit, but I do miss the Eray.

Are the temp controls not on a seperate screen? I thought they were no longer knobs.

Some of the temp controls are on rocker switchs on the bottom of the centre stack and the others are on the very bottom of the screen and always visible.

All very easy to change and see.

The only thing you need to access on the climate icon is the sync button...It stays on the last setting ( sync ) unless you change the temp on the passenger side and then you have to go back to the icon to change it back to sync.

That's not a real problem as both side temp buttons are right in front of you, if you wish to make them the same again quickly.
