I Recently purchased a 2002 C5. It came with a safety. I know I should have taken it to a mechanic for an overall inspection before I bought it, but I did not. Any suggestions of a shop in Toronto (or west end, I am Oakville) that could give it a solid quality overall inspection ? Much appreciated.

Little out of your way but: RACE READY GARAGE, 49 Robinson Rd, Cambridge, ON N1R 5S7

Forum sponsor and well regarded.

I lived in the east end and now in Bowmanville...I could highly recommend a shop that looked after my C5 and later C7...very honest, reasonable & competent, but likely too far for you to travel (border of Scarborough & Pickering). If you're interested I can send you details.

Could you please send me the info on that repair shop. Thanks!

Hello Mooseham. I'm also in Oakville and I have used Stingray Auto for several years. They are in the west in of Mississauga. Take the trip to their shop, usually interesting to see what is there and get a feel of them and their work. Take care and good luck finding a shop.
