Pretty expensive tires and I suspect they won't last that long before replacement is required. Oh well, the price you pay for performance...

For people like me in a climate with wet/cool Springs and Falls, getting a Z06 with these "track tires" that are best suited to a dry road surface, may make another set of rims and all-season tires mandatory. An extra expense to keep in mind. Unless GM comes out with 2 versions of the Z06: one with dedicated track tires and another with all-seasons, like the Stingray non-Z51 vs Z51 package? TBA.

Yikes. I guess that's one way to improve on the 0-60 but I'd budget the price of a hatchback and a mule for a tire swap.
