Hi, I am getting my 2015 VY Z51 corvette in beginning of May, was wonder how many C7 owners from Ottawa. Spring almost here so maybe we can get together and have some vette talk. I am planning on doing few mods when my car arrives, I will be happy to use some tips and expiriance you my have. All ready have parts waiting for my vette, including:
Carbon fibre front splitter and side rockers
Z06 front grille
Carbon flash exhaust panel-filler
Curb alert
Mud guards and some side vent Z51 decals.
Would appreciate any and all tips, looking forward meeting you guys.

its mike from stittsville, good to hear your getting your c7, its been a long time waiting for you.
anyways I just waiting for the snow to leave and mine will be on the road, going to cuba on the 22, and hoping to come back to clean roads and warm weather. you have some nice add ons there,i look forward to seeing them.

good day Luczaj35 - I purchased a 2016 Z51 3LT Black in and out. It is in storage now - I will take her our in April - I will install ACS Composite splitter and rocker panel as well as a Z06 GM grille. All of them will be in CF Flash. IN the spring time I would like to meet with you. Lets keep in touch.
 
Hello all. I'm another C7 owner in the Ottawa area (Beacon Hill). Mine is a Z51 Coupe in Night Race Blue with 2LT Black interior and wheels. It would be great to get together in the spring.....Ron
 
I'm also in Ottawa waiting for an allocation. Just out of curiosity, which dealer did you guys order from? Did your dealers have allocations, or did you have to wait? If so how long?
 
I purchased my Vette from Meyers Chev on baseline. I walked or should I say skated into the showroom on a freezing rainy Saturday in January of 2014 . As it turns out someone else happened to be buying a Vette a the same time (go figure) and scooped the last 2014 allocation at that time. Fast forward to July and I was told that Meyers had an additional 2014 allocation I could have for a TPW of Sept...only problem is that it could not be a z51. The alternative was to wait for a 2015, which I chose to do. The car was finally delivered the 3rd week of Nov, just in time for me to put it in the garage. Though a long 10 month wait and quite a number of emails and calls to keep pushing, one thing I have to say that impressed me was that I was price protected through 2 increases to the pricing we agreed to in January, including a $500 price reduction I had negotiated at that time. I've read stories on this forum that suggest my experience was much better than some, so all in all a good dealings with Meyers, albeit a bit of a waiting game....Ron

Thanks for the info Ron, I placed my order in September 2015. The dealer says they have allocations coming in as they sold more than a handful of vettes in 2015. I just hope I see my car during the Spring of 2016.

I purchased my c7conv at Bean in Carleton place. Then I traded it for a c7 coupe z51 at Myers on baseline. As of Friday nov 27 Myers had a used yellow 2015, a new 2016 cyber grey z51 coupe and a zo6 z07. 2016 in stock.
 
Hi to all corvette owners, I was away for a bit and not following the forum. I am no longer a owner of my beautiful VY Z51 vette, but just bought a 2015 black ZF1, so would be very happy to meet with all of you in the spring. I will definitely modify my new vette as I did with my Z51. My decision to sell my VY, don't get me wrong but that car was getting to much attention, another problem was the brake dust on the wheels and all owner my yellow vett, hopefully I will not regret my decision. My vette is being loaded next week for delivery from Alberta to Ottawa so it's a great Christmas gift to my self. Wish you all best holiday and safe winter so we can meet and enjoy the cars on in the spring.

I just bought a 2016 DSOM, Vert, Z51, MR, 3LT, and had it shipped from the dealer in the Toronto area to my garage. ( Hurry up spring)
I am a member of the Capital Corvette Club. Are any of you ?
