Thank you, maybe I should drive it to Halifax to visit my Grandsons. Be a good break-in trip to get
those first 500 miles on it!

Since you're in my neighbourhood, I'd love to see your new best friend once things settle down for you and I'm willing to drive to a spot convenient for you. I've a friend who took delivery of his C8 about 2 weeks ago and despite promises to come show it to me, it's been (as they say) "crickets" since then (sigh). Anyways, PM me if that's OK and we can make arrangements that work at your end. I promise to behave myself and not to get drool all over your C8. :)

Again, no rush so take your time to get to know your C8.

Another idea is to co-ordinate people from our area attending together in Vegas for the Ron Fellows Driving School once COVID settles down, if that's something on your radar. My plan is to go down South for that. All of this of course assumes I'll get my C8...
 
Mine didn't arrive at dealership till Wednesday morning must have been a milk run.
Picking up Saturday morning then I'll have 4 days with it till it goes in for Xpel and
ceramic coating.
They will need it for 4 or 5 days and then it can come home for good.
Plan on ordering Carbon Flash rocker extensions and a Silver engine cover from
Kippscott (their prices are unbeatable) that got missed on the original order.
Two more sleeps till Saturday.

Update I believe the oem rocker extensions are not Carbon Flash. Be sure to ask!

could you share a link or info or ordering from Kippscott? Do they have a splitter option?
 
They sell all GM oem parts at a 25% discount.
Their email is, buykippscottgmparts.ca
I've have dealt with Graham, very fast quotes.
Parts usually take 3 weeks as they bring in from US warehouse
 
It's best if you know the exact part # for what you want.
They punch the number in and that's what is priced, so you need to
do your homework.

I also ordered from them and found it an easy experience and here's some details which may help others:

-the C8 accessories aren't on their website; not yet entered since it takes some time for them to catch up to new models
-Graham and one other fellow there do all the "internet orders"
-Graham was great to deal with on the phone and was familiar with most of the available C8 accessories, although he'd not done many C8 orders yet (only for "Gilles27" at that point). He had to do a bit of extra homework for me since he'd not dealt with a convertible (until me) but he was able to figure out when there were differences...make sure and confirm if you're ordering for a coupe or convertible. You should be able to find some part numbers on the Web but "Gilles27" was kind enough to PM me a copy of his invoice, which made my ordering easier. Graham should be able to look things up. Graham emailed a quote to me within 15 minutes of our discussion
-I placed my order on July 17 and received an August 5 email saying it was ready for pick-up, proving the accuracy of "Blu427's" 3 week time frame. I'm next in Red Deer in mid-September and Graham said they had no problem hanging onto an order for a delayed pick-up (very nice of them)
-it makes it easier for them if you have a VIN
-I ordered: the front mat package (#84534619), the tray package for the frunk and trunk (#84840628), oil filters (#12696048), a wheel lock kit (#84488348) plus an indoor cover (#84865965). The tray package for the coupe is part #84840624 [and for those of you who do your own oil changes, I posted info in the C7 Forum about where to get a good price on C7 and C8 Corvette-approved engine oil]
-you have the option of pick-up or delivery but expect a ship charge if you need delivery
-finally, I received a bit more than 25% off MSRP on most of my order
