Is there no pride? Is there no shame ? 62 C8`s for sale

I think they are wondering why 62 people are dumping a brand new car, if it's for profit, or mechanical issues, or doesn't live up to the expectations. 62 Corvettes is a good amount of the total C8 Corvettes in Canada. 2200 2020 F150's is just a small percent of the 2020 F150's in Canada, but does show there are 2200 F150 owners that have come to their senses. :p

Thankyou, Riley P . That is exactly what I was wondering as a potential c8 buyer. Do they not live up to the expectations after owning and driving for a while? Are there mechanical issues? Etc. That is the feedback I was hoping to see on here, After owning 5 corvettes and the current 2019 grand Sport being so Reliable and so fun to drive I was looking for a bit of c8 owner insight.

OK if that's the question, I am happy to answer. I picked up my Z51 C8 on July 17th, and when I put it away i had almost racked up 10,000 KM's I have had not one issue with it, It has had an oil change. Everything works flawlessly. Love every minute behind the wheel and simply not enough daylight hours for this machine. I have not had a frunk issue. I have not had any interior issues, and no issues with the engine or transmission. Now I am sure I am not beating the crap out of my car either and so I guess I am just not testing the upper performance limits. But this car has exceeded my expectations from Day 1 and have not been let down at all. My one complaint is the phone holder/charger is located in such a way that I am always forgetting my phone in the car. I really would have liked a spot up front for it. But that is about my only complaint.

Here`s the way I see it.
Let`s wait till all allocations are almost done (say mar/apr) and I would expect there won`t be enough for the demand in 2021.
I myself will not sell. I waited 14 months for the HTC and now its in winter storage for 4 more months with 112kms on it.

That’s a ridiculously misleading title. Basically he says paying the excessive amounts people are asking on the resell market is too high. And that in a year or two the market will stabilize.
Not surprising, so many factors at play. Once supply balances with demand, prices will come down. Definitely the stars have aligned to maximize C8 pricing. Unlikely to ever happen again.

This is my first corvette ever. I’m 49 years old and have wanted one since I was 3 years old. I don’t care how much profit I can make. I’m not selling it. I absolutely love it and I drive it every single day. My dream come true.
... every single day ... Winter tires or all seasons??
Every single day. Snow, ice whatever. It’s my only car and yes I have Pilot Alpin snows on it.

That’s impressive! Kudos! I’m not brave enough to do that, and my driving skills also may not be up to par with 495hp rwd. I’m used to my 07 4Runner, which is awd, once the snow falls.
