Hello and thank you for allowing me to join. I am a new Corvette owner and am actually a long time Ford fan. I purchased my car from a family member and it's been around since 1983. My first ride was somewhere around 1994 when I was about 6. I don't know any prior history. I plan on decoding the VIN and restoring it as much as I can to original. Any other 1959 owners? I was born early enough that they were common place. Getting in the 59 is like getting into a time machine.

The car has been in storage for almost 20 years. Was driven in. It's in remarkable condition for something that's been sitting. Will add pictures when I go to visit it this weekend.

Welcome and yes there is a line up to see some pics of your 59.
There has been plenty of restorations documented on here of all generations so there will be lots of interest and hopefully some good advice as you go along.
