For Edmonton, I paid $1,400 for my 2020 C8 with "all the bells and whistles" (replacement cost value and $5M limits). Even after I signed an agreement that it would remain parked, I had to pay full rate for parking it over the winter months, however I received a credit in the spring when I "unparked it". I was credited for everything except fire and theft. So hopefully
Jdm127 you'll similarly recoup most of what you paid over the winter. If not, there's something seriously wrong with your coverage cost. But as others have said, costs vary due to your circumstances, with location being a key factor regardless of your driving record. There's no doubt that rates have gone up across the board: for both home and auto. Best to shop around and you'll save some bucks if you have multiple policies with the same insurer. Good luck.
