With race season around the corner im looking for a new set of tires for tracking this year, I used RE 11's last year and thought they were a great tire, were sticky as hell after a warm up lap , i heard nitto's were a pretty good tire .. any other ideas?

Im sure Manny has a couple lol

R888's or the Nitto NT05's :D

haha i figured you would say those 2 tires... prices? also im trying to find a lighter rim to put these bad boys on .. ideas?

Totally agree. Check out the wheel offerings from ADV1. Sick forged wheels!!! CCW's are sick too!

ADV1 wheels are crazyyyyy expensive lol gonna shop around for a bit .. sucks cause i have 2 sets of vette rims but they are so heavy

TSW's are very light also. Rotary forged and good pricing.:canada:

The TSW Nurburgring's are really nice. I remember looking at sizing and I don't think that they offered an overly wide rear tire. Don't quote me on that, but I was seriously considering those wheels for my Vette. My problem is that I want to go black on black and they're either machined or gunmetal grey. Still cool though.
