How is that machine with wind packed snow? We had a whiteout yesterday for about 10 hours with gusts as high as 90 kph. You can walk on top of some drifts and just leave footprints.

Never seen that in Southern Ontario. We get heavy wet snow a lot, but it's so light and fluffy when it's below zero here

Same here . It was only about-25 yesterday so the snow would normally be light and dry but the wind will pack it down hard . I have seen snow packed by the wind so hard up in the Barren Lands , at -40 , that even a snow machine just leaves a light impression of the track . Thankfully we seldom get this .

Actually I do remember snow like that, but I was 7 and was the last time I weighed under 100 lbs...

You are lucky . I don't remember much before high school graduation. But I do remember some huge snow storms when we were kids . Praying for school to be called off.....

I remember drifts on the road that big in Collingwood. They had machines with a huge heated arm to melt the drifts because plows could only move snow a few feet high.
