HTC Rear view mirror camera

Anyone else have problems with camera quit working. It was fine initially, but suddenly stopped working. There was 2 warning signs on mirror. Called dealer in West Palm Beach ( snowbirding ) and brought it in to check over. No service bulletins or recalls according to them. Once it was in the shop it started working. They said no sense fooling around with it and ordered a new mirror under warranty. Should be installed next week.

I had the exact same problem on Friday.
Mine has been fine, the car did an UPDATE and as soon as I restarted the car, the mirror does not work, and two symbols on the mirror.
It is still like that now.
Going to take it to the dealer next week I guess.

Those icons are for, 1: not to take pics of the mirror with your camera and 2, push that button to make it self distruct.

I'm never buying a C8, it seems all the high tech nannies lose their minds. I'll stick with the old C4, the stereo never worked, its got 1 air bag ,ABS, and I actually have to shift gears.... oh the calamity!
