Hot Rims

Have any of you guys ever tried Meguiars Hot Rims wheel cleaner. Sprayed some on my wheels yesterday and what a surprise. The rotors turned to instant rust, you could see it happen as it was sprayed on. Washed off immediately but it left the rust or coating in the rotor. Took about four or five trips up and down the driveway applying the brakes to get them back to normal. If I hadn't noticed this happening, it would have been a real surprise on a wet road. Anyone else ever had this problem.

I love the stuff. Works great on my chrome zo6 rims and dry with no water spots. My rotors get a little rusty everytime I wash, so does my truck thats fairly normal.
