So three cases over 6,000 plus cars?  Again I am not saying operator error. But may still fall in the category of part failure not failure of design. Bad parts can and will make it to assembly line. These things happen. I am sure that GM is monitoring the feedback and concern from all of the sites online so they have to be investigating. They seem to work closely with those that are blowing up engines and transmissions from over modification. Surely the latch warrants their attention too.
