Click click click at least. Just loose easy fix. Make sure you remove the battery off the car then clean terminals with water and baking soda (Arm n Hammer)Safety procedure!!!
Although mine is a C7 ... I just had this "click click click".
It was the battery as my schumacher maintainer
has a digital readout that scrolled "charging 6V" ... so one of the cells was kaput.
If this was a new battery for you ... take it to dealer (assuming an AC Delco replacement)
and they should be able to confirm the battery for you.
Only saying this as the "click click click" scenario plays back as a continuous loop
in my head even after two weeks.
The battery replacement was my fix - hope this will be your fix too.
thanks I m going to look into that, the resistance was 1.4 and i do notice that the fuel pimp does run when i turn the ignition to on. this all worked fine til I hooked up the battery tender because the battery would go dead after sitting for more than a week
