Heat or no Heat

Ok everyone

How many have experienced this?

I start the car and head out on the street and adjust the heat settings. I want the temp to be a little lower But the beast has other plans. The heat is set at 17' and the auto button is on and the air light is lit up. the fan is blacked out and the heat is on high and the fan is on max.
I can turn the fan down but the heat just keeps on coming.
So I lower the heat to LO and guess what the heat stays on full.

Another time my wife is on the passenger side and she says it is getting hot in here because the above is happening. She adjusts her temp down and she gets air so I try cause it is really getting hot and like in the above I still get heat and lots of it.

So I pull over shut the car off and restart and all is well until the next time it happens.
Don't get me started on the Navigation glitches. It is one POS in my opinion. But once in a while it works almost as good as my truck one.

Hey I love the car but could use less glitches.

And another thing why does everyone want to race the yellow Corvette. Have never experienced this kind of thing before. On my Harley everyone just left me alone. In fact they avoided me. LOL

Again I loved the car. Especially in Track Mode.

I'm not sure if this applies to your model but there is a "fix" that has to be downloaded by the dealer. I recently brought my 2015 z51 in for an oil change and mentioned this. They did the download and now I'm waiting for a new blower motor. I was not able to get the a/c or fan to work and the inside of the car got hot. Ask your dealer.

Hopefully the dealer can help you out with the software update to fix everything.
As for everyone wanting to race the yellow Corvette? They just want to check out your tail lights.

From a traffic light one fellow took off with a vengeance. He might have honestly forgotten he was driving a U-haul at the time. His acceleration was impressive -- really it was, but please.

Software will eventually fix everything -- this said by a software engineer.
