I am getting extreme heat from the auto tranny in the cabin...what can i do?

Tim I get a lot of heat into the interior from in my C5Z. I believe they have a kit to insulate the interior better from the primary source of heat, the exhaust bundle right below the seats. It can get uncomfortably hot on occasion.

I hope that your issue is just exhaust and not something else. Any idea what kind of running gear temperatures you are seeing? Maybe that is not even possible to get I am not sure.

Good luck.

AC? Where is the button for that?:Confused5::D

Tim.. What's getting warm.. Your feet or your butt!
The exhaust is probably your heat source.
The tranny is behind you, but the exhaust can make it warm in the footwell.

I never have the top up so I get pretty good air circulation in the car!
And both the tunnel area and rear area have been done with a DynaMat type product under the carpet.
I've never noticed a heat issue.

Keep your cool.
Graham
