It would be an alternative over just a high end exhaust for the same $?
I am talking about the lease expensive of the combos; Hookers headers and cats.
One may actually add a few more hp? And it would make it sounds more aggressive with the stock exhaust that you want to achieve with the aftermarket system?

This is the system I had installed -no blue tips: Paragon Performance PP-E003-GCBLUE Track Exhaust for C8 Corvette 2020-2024 (https://www.vividracing.com/paragon-performance-track-exhaust-gloss-carbon-blue-tips-chevrolet-corvette-stingray-20202024-p-156111313.html?utm_source=google&medium=cpc&matchtype=&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_keyword=&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAs5i8BhDmARIsAGE4xHyOx27b2RASiW9_9sjGPVAJG2J17c2hfr23p1HW1lTT56I2tGkvDV0aAo0OEALw_wcB)

Does the cats has proper ceramic in the center and not hollow? One guy on youtube said the center was see through and surrounded with some ceramic.
Constructed from 3" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tube for long life and strength. We have tested this system on track and off track to ensure it can take anyone's abuse. We back that with a lifetime warranty against weld defects and cracking for the original purchaser. Any issues, we replace it! Oh and it makes power! Increase WHP by +14 an

What do people do with their stock exhausts after putting an after market exhaust on? Has anyone had luck selling it? I’m putting an AWE track exhaust on a brand new c8, so the stock exhaust would be like new.

For example, 2M has 2 cats replacement options. the 1st one is full by-pass hollow tube, nothing in it, a potato could go through it. the 2nd one is the high flow cats, this one has a center core in it. You can see this on their website and on many Youtube videos. Please note that 2M is not the only company that sells these 2 options to replace the OEM cats. So far 2M is maybe the least expensive.

When I changed mine, I also bought new OEM gaskets. This is not mandatory, just recommended.

What about warranty. I had heard you can get away with cat backs but once you put headers or sport cats on you would not be covered. Any truth to these comments or evidence of this? I too just bought a new C8 and wondering what way to go, sport cats or cat back. I really like the fabspeed maxflo, but would prefer something with a better price point that achieves better or equal sound.. I want to have the valves work and no CELs

Thanks for the feedback guys. It seems that the M2 combo is a good choice for those of us with a budget in mind. I hope it does fit well in the HTC. In the coupe, there are no worries with lots of top clearance.
Other thing that I would ad is the headers blanket. Those are just as much as the header itself, expensive. lol..

Just noticed that majority of the headers for the C8 are merge at the flange and only 2 that is 4 -into-1 including Paragon and aFe. Why that is?

i see people trying to sell them all the time for crazy money. I sold one a few years ago to a member for $150

30 years from now they'll be worth a fortune! ;)

Looking at every headers that I can find on the forum. I found a distinctive difference with the Paragon one. It is in the transition area at the exist from the head. The Paragon seems to have smoother transitions, more gradual then most other brands?
The second difference is the 4 into 1 before entering the cats.
From my novice observation, this should aid in gas velocity exiting the the heads?

1. American Headers
2. Kooks
3. Paragon
