Have You Had Your Toy Out Yet ????

Not much salt here but sand and chips all over the roads... Nope... baby is warm and toasty in the man cave. I have coffee with her every day.... We are both happy with that until Spring....

58 days till April 1st ,not that I count :) Past winters I've driven a few miles when the opportunity arises but it's been one ice storm after another ..

Just joined the forum today and haven't got an avatar on yet . I live in Belleville Ontario and I'm about to take my magnetic red 1999 coupe in the next hour. Roads around here have been pretty good this winter and I have been able to take it out for a 60 km run nearly every two weeks.

Welcome to the forum 1999. When you get a chance, Introduce yourself and your Corvette in the New Users section and post some pictures. We like pictures here. :D

Just got back from a run around Belleville. Boy that was fun. it was plus 5 c here today with dry roads. Car was just washed and put away in garage with cover on. I will post on the new members area . had a little trouble with it earlier.

Welcome 1999. Hope you can make the intro work.

North of you up 62 in Haliburton. Absolutely no getting out here!

Too much snow to take the old girl out in Saskatchewan. We usually have to wait until late April before we can get really excited about the thought of bringing the cars out.

Welcome 1999! I've been driving my car: dry, no sand or salt and temp. 7-10'C even some sunshine with top up, of course. Maybe Feb. I can get the lid down.

Had the garage door open and let the toys see the driveway ....
The head lights came on and they said ....
Wake me out in a month or two ... LMAO .

My friend (Porsche guy) from Calgary use to complain about the gravel they put on the roads there. I visited him once in the winter and I could not believe the amount and size of the stuff on the road - major chips and windshields to be sure. He moved to Kelowna when he retired; but, still has to deal with snow: maybe be able to get his 911 out in March?

Big snow melt in Calgary to close January today (28th) 11c and warmer tomorrow. Then the last two days of January suppose to be back to winter. Sooo tempting to ride (even just a block or two and get a coffee) but those rocks on the roads here keep the thought real! So it's a couple of days for which I can take advantage to remove the Xmas lights .... oh .... that means I have to pull the gem on to the driveway ... maybe a lawn chair beside it put on the sunglasses and enjoy a beer! Then reset everything back for the rest of winter. Makes the amount of time it takes to put away the Xmas lights a bit longer ... but ... only in Canada eh?

melting to beat heck here too... + 10.4 right now... opened the garage door and pulled the cover off my baby and she saw the snow and screamed just like Brenda does when I'm going hunting and turn the bedroom light on at 4:30 am...lmao.... gonna have a beer and fire the smoker up....

Out to-day: sunny +10'C - had to go for drive over to my GM dealer to book an appt. to get my latest On-Star car report checked out as there appears to be an issue with the engine of some kind - told me they will put it on the computer at the shop and diagnose the situation. While there I asked a salesman to give me a price on trading in my 16 C7 for the 2017 GS model - we shall see what happens? Stopped at A&W for a root beer and a teen burger -yum!!!
