Hot hot August weekend. What a better way to cool off than go boating.

Back in the early '70s, a friend hauled around a 427 powered Mandella ski boat behind his 1971 LT1 Corvette. The car is apparently still in my general area. I road in the boat on it's maiden voyage around Little Lake in Peterborough. 50 mph, idling along and tears from my eyes ran right back into my ears.

Those "V" drive boats still get my attention Keith. There was a Mandella dealer in Toronto many years ago on the banks of the Humber River right at the QEW. They had a red one in the showroom with a 427 Ford, it was a stunning boat.
