Hey, thanks guys. And I did mange to get a good drive out in the Corvette too.

No luck -as yet- on the car's history. But I'd be really grateful if anyone's memory gets stirred to recall anything.

And Mr Ruuuff Day, funny you should mention cockles. I did have big bowl of mussels in the evening. What's with the cockles anyhow, is this what Canadians think English eat all the time??!

No EF. My buddy just got back from England and brought me a tin of cockles and a Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney pie... I ate the pie right away and was thinking of the cockles when I wished the Happy Birthday... To be honest, I have no idea what the British eat all the time but I heard cockles are a popular seaside snack over there...

Not just cockles, on a recent trip to the Norfolk coast, a seafood vendor guided my purchasing decision towards whelks, clinching the deal by announcing that "The whelk is a much maligned mollusc."

It would have been rude not to!
