Seen lots of hail here in southern Alberta. Check out Hailstorm Alley on Wikipedia.
In June 2020 there was 1.3 billion dollars in insurable damages from one storm.
Google images of hail storm damage in Calgary.
Insurance companies have there own cloud seeding planes trying to fend off the hail

Anyone seen this ? Kentucky.

For all those whose cars may be sitting in Bowling Green lots, the Gods were shining down on you. The easterly travelling storm did not drop any hail on that part of Kentucky. It was close (approximately 100km north).

On a side note, I am not sure if hail would have the same effect on the polymer/composite bodies of the Corvette versus aluminum or metal vehicle bodies?

LEGEND: BLUE cloud/rain icons are reports of hail - GREEN are reports of high winds.

It typically doesn't do the same as with metal vehicles. It will crack the paint though and if it gets to softball size like id did here a couple years back it could crack the polymer.
