if you you don't buy the Z51 exhaust on the C8 corvette can you still change the mode that will change the exhaust sound like touring sports and track ?

If you don't get Z51 for $5900 you can still add the performance exhaust option. It's called NPP and it's $1375. It gives you the same exhaust with the valves that will open and shut depending on what mode you selected. That's the route I went.

It will always be in quiet mode. It cannot be adjusted without adding the NPP performance exhaust option.... unless you go for an aftermarket exhaust system when they become available.

ok perfect thanks a lot for helping me make my decision i will take the npp, because probably the aftermarket will not have the open valve on the exhaust, quiet mode for my (wife) and track for me !
