Yup, slap a sticker on it and it's perfect! LOL.
Where's Jack when you need him? ;)
It's lipstick and a shorter dress  ...... but apparently it also has the new engine. Just incase 495 HP isn't enough for you, lol. That should stir the pot a bit . ;)

Yes, that's more important to me. Give me HP! Wonder what the SR is going to get? Muddy's the whole thing IMO

Sure its similar to the Eray and Z06 .... however they are all similar to each other ... yea even the Stingray .... and yea they are all stunning

HP you want .... HP you will get .... they are saying the X version will come in at 721 .... its a toned down version of the ZR1 X ... to be confirmed very soon

The torque numbers will be very impressive

I beg to argue that this version is a bit more than slapping a new badge on its side

Furthermore I have always loved shorter dresses :D

Kinda reminds me of my wife's comments last night when I showed the pics of the new GS

She said ... It looks like what you already have ... :Nono1:..... and of course people will see what they wanna see :D

And even if she is at the center of my heart ..... it begs the graphic below :p

True, it does have a little more HP. I am left wondering if the price will make it all worthwhile. A Stingray can now be modified for more HP also.

Sorry, but suggesting the 'new' GSX is a "toned down version of the ZR1X" is a bit of a stretch, don't you think?
Perhaps you have shared the price tag on the ZR1X with the wife, only to prove how much money you can 'save' by buying the GSX?
That's ok.
Your secret is safe with us.
The GSX is the new and improved E-Ray, period.
Buy it and enjoy it for what it is.

Yea ok .... if you say so .......

And thanks for keeping my secret ..........

Corvette’s new primary engine is the LS6 – a 6.7L V8 engine powering the 2027 Grand Sport and the 2027 Stingray. This is the new 6th generation V8 that will be built by GM at their Flint Engine Operations Plant in Flint, Michigan.

The new LS6 is a naturally aspirated V8 delivering 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque. That’s the most torque than any other naturally aspirated V8 from GM. The displacement comes in at 409 cubic inches and it has a 13.0:1 compression ratio. The Throttle Body is 95mm and it has a tunnel ram intake with high-velocity ports to move more air which unlocks additional power. Other enhancements include a new lubrication system, forged pistons and rods, and revised exhaust manifolds for extended high-load, high temperature environments.

Each Corvette model has a dedicated performance package, but the Grand Sport actually has two performance package options available depending on your driving style and what those plans may be.

  • The Z52 Sport Performance Package comes tuned around a stiffer suspension and is optioned with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tire and the high-performance J56 iron brakes from the Corvette Z06.
  • The Z52 Track Performance Package offers Brembo’s carbon-ceramic J57 brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, and track-focused chassis tuning. The Z52 Track Pack is paired with a carbon-fiber splitter, dive planes, rockers, and Z06-style high wing, plus underbody strakes, making it the most track-capable Grand Sport to date.
The Grand Sport X is rated at 721 combined horsepower. It’s getting the front-axle electric motor and compact battery pack from the Corvette ZR1X which is rated at 186-hp and it provides near-instant access to 145 lb-ft of torque on the front axle. Standard features include Magnetic Ride Control, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport All–Season 4 tires. There is also an optional Performance Package that adds Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Also like the ZR1X, the Grand Sport X gets new features that were not available on the E-Ray. It allows drivers to choose how they want to use that available power. Those features include:

  • Endurance Mode with the Charge+ button for extended track lapping and consistent eAWD output.
  • Qualifying Mode offers the Optimum power strategy for the ultimate lap time.
  • Push-to-Pass Mode which provides the maximum available power on-demand.
Of course, the Grand Sport X offers two electric-only propulsion modes that utilizes the electric-only front axle. Stealth Mode allows you travel up to 50 mph and it’s perfect for those quiet neighborhood exits while Shuttle Mode is limited to just 23 mph and it’s the perfect way to move your car around on electric power only without engaging the V8.

These are basically the things in the new F1 regulations that everyone is complaining about. Even and in some cases especially the drivers....
