GM’s “Final Edition” C7

Not talking about the Driver Series revealed last Friday, but news today that GM Europe just announced the “Final Edition” C7. Does that help anyone who is one the fence about whether the C7’s are continuing to make their own decision? As someone posted in the link, GM could have name it anything, yet they chose “Final Edition.”

It is only available in Europe and only in Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic and Sebring Orange Metallic.

It’s technically the European “Final Edition” so there is still hope for the 2020 ZR1 in NA as the C7 ZR1 was never released for Europe.

To me.... not definitive at all.

We should know on Feb 21st whether GM is extending production of the ZR1 beyond its originally scheduled ending this March. However, what we might now know on that date, if it is extended whether that would be for a month, three months, six months, or ????

A bit out of the loop these days so it’s interesting to hear about the Final Edition and Drivers Edition.
Funny that GM is still trying to push that ceramic grey colour on people. What an underwhelming colour to use on anything that’s supposed to be special.
Oh well, it seems there’s sad/exciting times coming up for the Corvette!!! I, for one, am looking forward to seeing what happens!

"Final" is a terrible word in a Model Name ... let alone on a stick-on.
Purely appears as a Marketing decision in my opinion.
How many times has "the Brick" used Final and they use Blowout too.

I agree, although the name does intrigue me, as I am still on the fence about whether the new mid-engine Corvette is going to be a success, and my biggest fear is that if it is not well-received, then that word "final" has much deeper meaning that you think.

GM Europe? Final Edition? Does anyone really care? Last I noticed, GM Europe sells about 600 Vettes a year between 44 - 50 countries, depending on any given year. So, like, it matters why..... I'm not sure what GM is doing, they seem a little confused at the moment but I'm sure somewhere in their Towers they have reason for the Final Edition
