GM Warranty?

I don't see anywhere in my extended warranty that the headlights are not covered.
Because they are solid state LED headlights that are not user replaceable I think they are covered.
Here's a GM extended warranty contract. American but I would think Canada is the same. Bottom of page 4 starts the exclusions.

Here's what I got. I can't find it on the web. I see "sealed beam" on the US one, but nothing like that on mine
Easy Murray, your fight with the boss will send you to Sennuckville Country Club....
Is my wife on here?
You never had a " rough day" at home?

Lol... you guys are funny... I'm not that much of a hardass or some of you would have been gone to the US long ago...

For the various "Total Plus" GM manufacturer extended warranty options I was given and the pricing for each, see below. This was for the maximum available 7-years, only, so prices will be lower for lesser periods of time. I chose the 100,000 km $100 deductible option priced at $4,816 + gst. From that, I was given a $1,900 reduction with my dealer explaining that GM allotted $1,900/car as "incentive funds" for the dealer to use as it saw fit, to apply to any deal. Initially I was offered $1,500 off but I said I'd shop the extended warranty around near the end of the regular warranty period, unless I was given the full $1,900 reduction. So my cost worked out to $2,916 + gst or about 60% of the full amount. You may do better in several years once more is known about the C8's reliability however there's a chance the costs could increase by then. Who knows? Again and as everyone says, whether you spring for an extended warranty is up to you and how risk-adverse you are. My worry was the initial model year and all the electronics in particular.

Also attached is the only literature I was given for the extended warranty. I'm hoping to get the actual wording in the mail? Anyways, there's no mention (for example) of headlights being covered under "electrical" so Rruuff Day is likely correct. It's probably considered a part subject to "normal wear and tear". Hopefully some of you will find this info helpful.

LOL, I was looking under the column What's not covered on the next page.
Tricksy GM. Title is on the bottom left and the rest on the top right.
Still, they aren't a sealed beam, but I can see them using it as an excuse.
As usual they don't cover "wear" items.

I did a comparison on what you were offered and my dealer is selling them for substantially less, plus they will take another 500.00 off

84/100/Zero on your contract = 5216.00/4766.00 -500.00 = 4266.00 =950.00 difference
84/80/Zero on your contract =4886.00/ 4391.00 -500.00 = 3891.00 =995.00 difference
