Barbless ? Probably spent as much time taking them off the hook as getting them on there . Nice problem to have ......... I'm happy it was productive. I dug out the tackle yesterday. Just have to find a friend with a boat , lol.Trying to count how many fish we caught and released is tough but between the two of us we caught close to 300 in 6 days of fishing. So no. Not disgruntled. And thanks, but I'd still rather be still fishing...
Saskatchewan is all barbless. Lake trout, grayling and walleye normally only get hooked in the lip, Northern Pike are the hook swallowers. If your lakes are well populated with fish, you should be able to catch from shore or a dock.
All it takes is 1 Mod to come back from vacation to derail a thread. Hook, line and sinker lol...
We can definitely catch them that way here but there tends to be fewer mosquitoes out on the lake especially with a bit of breeze . And yes Pike will even swallow other Pike , lol.
