I'm in Fredericton New Brunswick and have owned my 75 for not quite a year. It's a good looking vette, not show quality but I got a lot of comments and looks last summer. Just waiting for spring with a long list of improvements and things i'd like to do with it.
Stick with original rubber, stay clear of poly. With the nut off, the assembly can be raised with a floor jack, and a pry bar can get it out. Took me about 45 minutes to an hour to replace. My exhaust didn't have to be removed.

Rubber is your friend. Some Poly's will crack in one driving season
I just installed a polly bushing in mine... will keep a record to see how long it lasts.. should have at least 3 drag race days as well as normal driving for summer.
