Theres a guy from Oklahoma on a Knight Rider Forum who has done a few conversions, not only KITT from Knight Rider, but a jeep from Jurassic Park, ECTO-1 from Ghostbusters, and the DeLorean from Back To The Future.

He's talking about doing an Eleanor from the original Gone in 60 Seconds, The S&H Gran Torino, the Monkey's mobile and the Bandit Trans Am (Not the year one) conversions. He's limited to finances but each project takes about 2 years to complete.
