Its probably not the motor you already have... This is the older z06 motor if u read above.

If I were in ontario and hadn't already spent this year's mods budget I would have already picked it up. Think of it this way. It's the easiest way anyone with an LS-1 (stock) car will add at least 60 horse AND improve their ride. Actually it might be cheaper than an LS-1 cam swap!!

I agree, if I had a bone stock LS1 would swap out in an instant.
You could still sell of the old LS1 engine for a few bucks also.

Riley, a few cases of beer with a few friends and shoe horn that engine right in there, instant power gains.
You could get everything ready and in place before June when you take her out for a ride!

Yah, but then it would be a good time to put in headers, and a cam since the engine is out and it's easy to do, plus a clutch.

If I happen to stumble on an extremely well paying job in the next month or two, I'll let you know! It's not how much it costs to do this, it's how much I owe for going to school and our beautiful economic condition that is taking the wind out of my sail.

c6 z06 power for say 4-5k? CHEAP

Without the heads and using ported stock units that's pretty much exactly what I'm getting!!!

Depending on the heads, cam and compression you could get over 525 at the crank.
I put down just over 500 at the crank on a LS1 with mods in my sig and the LS6 has 50hp on me!
