Finally picked it up on Tuesday.

IMHO, seeing as I had Mulan leather in my 2016 C7 was great -period!! When I put my name in at one dealer (bad mistake!!!) for a C8 I had decided I would order a loaded 2LT with the upgraded GT2 seats. But, because I was getting the run-a-round on my place on the list, I decided to buy my current car from a dealer at above MSRP because I was fed up and not getting any younger! It just happens to be a fully loaded 3LT ($122K FOB dealer MSRP) with Napa leather etc.
My feelings are that the Mulan is very good - yes; but, for the extra price the 3LT is very good value vs any other high end sports car, for example; and , yes, I would order 3LT again. My dealer here bought a C8 2LT and the seats look great!! To each his own: both are awesome.

All C8s have real leather
Agree. All C7's have real leather as well. And likely most all Corvettes prior. Mulan is a fancy made up name for bonded leather. Yes. Still real leather but ground up with an additive to bond it all together. Napa is full grain, unsplit leather from sheep or kid goat skin and sometimes young calf. That is the difference. It is the leather used in a majority of European exotics, including Ferrari.

ah yes now it is coming back to me with the way you just explained it. When you say ground up leather bits it somehow made me think of sheets of presswood, with all the bits of wood all glued together, versus a sheet of plywood. I guess in the end leather is leather here.

I just recall a few people mentioning that the fit and finish of the NAPA leather on the doors and dash is a step up, especially the new smell, but not sure why NAPA leather would have a more leathery smell than Mulan. In my case wanted to RB/TB interior so had to go 3LT either way.

I am excited about the suede roof liner and pillars too, well I am saying I am excited but don’t have the car yet so expecting to be excited :-)

Since we can't believe Mulan (not Milan) leather is a bonded leather, then much like the prolific number of inaccuracies we often hear here and in general, it appears that we must sit back and wait for a number of years and see which seats stand the test of time. My C6 developed a wear scuff on the drivers upper seat bolster before I learned how to enter a Corvette which I had repaired and was advised that my seats were a bonded leather product. The sitting area also developed wrinkles and surface cracks over a 5 year period. My 3LT C7 is 8 years old now and the Napa leather seats are showroom condition. I believed the claims that Napa was a full grain, high quality superior leather and that Mulan was a bonded leather. And being able to afford what was I felt was the best, the 3LT was an easy choice.

I wasn't interested in seeing this in a vehicle I intended to keep. Perhaps if I was trading for a new Corvette every year, I would have thought differently.

You are so right. Which is what I meant to say (below). My current car is the only one that has the Napa leather and I can say that this is the best product. This is my 5th corvette. I am sold on the 3LT package and would order again.

lol.... I read your first reply attempt first ....."You R absol" and thought you were absolving me....

My thought is in the world of tech today that a smart phone is considerably smarter than the user and if anyone say's it isn't, that just proves my point...
How would you know, Dummy! ;)

I have a very smart interactive phone Murray. It often messages me with sideways comments about my abilities and then sends me ads for vintage Flip Phones that it thinks I should be considering.... ;)
I almost have to use voice to text because my thumbs aren't smart enough and I always send the text before proofreading. I can't tell whose more stupider at times. Me or the phone. ;)
