The real winner in all this are the governments that collect HST on every transfer of ownership. They can collect more in total taxes on a car than the MSRP of the car itself...

Interesting how the provincial tax system works in the rest of Canada. My opinion is it should be set up the same as the GST. Once the taxes are paid on an item once, it should be free and clear of future taxes. One more reason I'm glad to live in a province with no provincial sales tax. JMO.

Ya, you get taxed in different ways. Your standard of living is likely not much different than any other province. I prefered hidden taxes. As long as gubberments don't waste (Ya, like that will happen LoL) I can be blissfully ignorant.

Used market still asking over MSRP, would love the new GT500 but don’t feel like paying $20 to 30K over MSRP for used.

The C7’S arnt too bad in price actually.

Got build date and VIN on the Dark Horse; May 29 ; hopefully get it in June - then trade in for C8 next spring.

I'd be interested in your opinion when you get it. I chose a Camaro over a front engine Vette. HP aside, I'd think you would have kept your C7 Z06 rather than the Mustang.

Was a C7 grand sport, Had a Camaro ZL1 2015 before that.

Your right tho if I didn’t sell the C7 it would’ve been good to hold me over until the c8 comes; time I sold it had no idea the car market (& everything else) was gona be the way it is now - shortages and inflation.

I can’t justify buying used in this market, and this new Dark Horse was available so jumped on it, I’ll post here when it arrives.
